Prof. Rowan: Welcome to Twinleaf Town. As you know, I am Sinnoh's expert professor of Pokemon. Here, if you have reached the age of 10, you can choose your starter pokemon as either Piplup, Chimchar, or Turtwig. You can also contact the Kanto Region in Sinnoh. We are still linking with the other professors.

Prof. Rowan: Are you some kind of new Pokemon? Maybe I should catch it...
Mana: *walks in as a human with journey items* Hi Prof. Rowan! I'm here to pick up a Pokemon!

Whip: If you stuff me in some airtight ball, I'll take this kunai and shove it-
*See's Hana*
Whip: Oh, what's up Hana?

Prof. Rowan: That's quite an... interesting Pokemon you've caught there Mana...
Mana: Hmm? Whip? Oh no! He's just my little brother who dresses up like Pokemon. *looks at Whip* Or, at least, what he THINKS are pokemon.
Prof. Rowan: So you're finally getting a Pokemon?
Mana: Yup! Got an approval from Mom!
Prof. Rowan: Well then, choose your pick.
Mana: That's easier! I choose you, Piplub! (sp?)
Prof. Rowan: I see. Water as usual. Are you going to nickname it?
Mana: I'm gonna nickname her Tsunami!
Tsunami: Pip? *sees Whip* PIP! *uses peck on Whip*

Whip: Nyaaahh!!!!!
*Blocks face with arms*
Whip: Stop it! I'm not a Pokemon! ><

Mana: Tsunami! C'mere you cute Piplup!
Tsunami: Pip! *jumps into arms*
Mana: C'mon little brother. I don't want you to be washed away if she uses bubble beam!

Whip: -_- I'm not your little brother and I don't think I'd be beaten by a midget bird in a battle...

Tsunami: *anime vein* Pip-pip-pip-PIPLUP! *uses whirlpool on Whip and traps him in it while damaging him*
Mana: O_o'

Whip: NYAAAHH!!! I THOUGHT YOU WERE LEVEL 5!!! SINCE WHEN DID PIPLUP'S LEARN WHIRLPOOL AT LEVEL 5!?!?!?
*Flies into the sky with a Team Rocket twinkle*

Rowan: Well, yes, usually Piplups don't learn Whirlpool at level 5, but this Piplup was always an interesting case.
Mana: Good job Piplup. ^^'
Tsunami: Plup! *chest poofs out*

:Go, Evee!
*A pokeball lands, releasing an Evee*
Whip: I challenge You, Mana, to a Pokemon Battle!

Mana: Oh, it is SO on! C'mon Tsunami! Get out there and let's show up the cute Evee!
Tsunami: Plub!!

Whip: Bring it on, Mana! Me and my Evee Have only just met, but we're already unbeatable!
Evee: Evveeee!!!
*It's tail stands on end, and it crouches back, ready to pounce*

Mana: Ahh, but the question is, how many pokemon you have! I happen to have a SHINX on me, alias, Volt! But no matter! Cuz Tsunami will whoop your EVEE's butt faster than you can run!
Tsunami: Plub! *prepared to battle*

Whip: Try me! Evee! Use Scratch!
Evee: Ev!
*Evee lunges at Tsunami with a clam outstretched*

Mana: Tsunami! Dodge, then use Bubble!!
Tsunami: *dodges and uses bubble*

[Huh. Or should we stick to the game format?]

[I think we should try a mixture of Anime format and game format. Ability to dodge, but still taking turns]
Whip: Look out Evee!
Evee: Eveee!
*Evee get's hit and flys back, but jumps up onto all fours*
Whip: atta' boy! Use Quick attack!
Evee: Ev!
*Evee rockets foreward*

Tsunami: PIP! *gets hit by quick attack*
Mana: Are you OK Tsunami?
Tsunami: Pipblub! *gets back on feet*
Mana: Alright! Let's use Whirlpool!
Tsunami: ...Pip?
Mana: Eh? Don't you know Whirlpool?
Tsunami:
Mana: ...QUICK! POUND!
Tsunami: PIP! *hits Evee*

Evee: Effe!
*Flinches and recovers quickly*
Whip: Evee! use Growl!
Evee: Reow!
*Kitten growl*

Mana: Ha! Your growl has no eff-
Tsunami: *cowers in fear*
Mana: ...You have GOT to be kidding me....

Whip: Now Evee! Tackle while it's weak!
Evee: Eeeee!
*Jumps head first at Tsunami*

Mana: You seem to forget one thing Whip! Growl lowers the ATTACK of a pokemon! Not the defense! Tsunami! Trust me with this next move! Use Pound!
Tsunami: *throws a weak punch at Evee*

*Both attacks meet up, Evee taking more damage than giving*
Evee: Ev!
*Skids back once more, lowering on all his paws*
Whip: Evee! Are you okay?

Tsunami: *skids back some* Pip!
Mana: You're doing great Tsunami! Now! Let's end this! Bubble!
Tsunami: Pip pip pip pip!! *bubbles fly out*
