A new DeathNote

*Walks down the street and spots a black notebook. I pick it up and see "Death Note" written on the cover.*

So this is one of the famous Death Notes. I think I'll hold onto it for a while. *I smirk as I casually slip it into my black messager bag, zipping it into one of the hidden pockets.*

:Yo Rei!
*Comes up looking like this*
Whip: Man, how do you guys stand this.... I swear this is the last time I let Hana transform me into a human...
*Scratches his arm beneath his sleeve*

Uh-um...? Do.. Do I know you?

Whip: Huh? Oh, right.
*Puts golden goggles on top of his head*
Whip:...anything?

Eh...? I'm sorry, but no.

Whip: C'mon! Hana said it'd be simple to see! Orange hair, baggy pants! I even put on the goggles*
*Points to them*
Whip: You mean to tell me you can't recognize me?

* Moves sunglasses so they rest ontop of my head.* No, you must have me confused with someone else.

Whip:.... Rei? It's me, Whip!
*Pulls out a few turnips*
Whip: See? Who else would walk around with turnips in thier pockets?

Oh... *pulls sunglasses back down. ( My new human form is my icon right now)* What brings you here.

(Oh, ok, I figured as much)
Whip: Heh, finally. I was just checking this place out. It's nice, but there's alot of crime nowadays...
*Looks around the area*
Whip: Speaking of which, I should ask you the same thing.

There's a gameing thing going on, Me and Howl are competeing for the hell of it.

Whip: Oh. him...
*Puts his hand in his pocket*
Whip:.... I feel so cool, having bare hands. ^^
*Brushes the hair behind his ears*
Whip: I feel almost deaf though...

hn... *Rests a hand and part of my arm on my bag.* Well, that just shows you how things are without KIRA around. Though it's good for me and some friends.

Whip: That's right. not even you can escape the Deathnote's power....
*Cracks fingers*
Whip: I wonder if Kira would ever come back though... It'd be nice to have someone killing all those criminals. I just got robbed of 40 gold rings, which is apparently worth something here...
*Notices the sudden hand movement but doesn't think anything of it*

That sucks. HM... how much do you know about everything that happened?

Whip: All I heard was that Kira was apparently caught, and on the same day, a kid named "Light Yagami" went missing.
*Sighs*
Whip: I hear alot of rumors but, I don't believe any of them.
*stretches*
Whip: Alot of people think Ligh was Kira, but he was a straight A student in honors classes. He would've been smarter than to be so competitive against Grade-A detectives.

But look at how long it took them to catch Kira.

Whip: I have to admit, this Kira must've been elusive. But like I said before, there's no way a High school student from this dimension could've done so much without getting caught.
*Yawns*

It went on when he was in collage too as well as after he graduated.

Whip: Wait, why are you so intrested in how much I know, anyways?
*Looks suspiciously at Rei*
Whip: And why do you think this Light kid did it?

Let's see, he had a strong sense of justice. He was classified as one of Japan's best and brightest. He just seems like someone I would've looked into. As for why I'm asking, it just for something to talk about. Feel free to change the subject.

Whip: Ok..... Let's talk about how weird it is that we all speak English in Japan....

They do teach it in elementry school here.

Whip: OH, but they don't teach us Japanese in Elementary!?

Well they did try to teach us spanish at mine, but after awhile everyone voted to stop.
