*Whip looks both ways, and then whispers to Mana, as if telling her a secret*

*Whip shines his nails in confidence, missing the sarcasm*

[their walkie talkies turn on]

Mana: Ah! Crap! *dashes off to her station and her pokemon trail behind*

You mean your cheerleader can battle?

*Despite the incoming Galaxy goons, Whip's voice explodes over the radio*

[With Whip]

*a female with the Team Galactic uniform approaches him with cold eyes*
Girl: *holds up a disarmed trap* I would believe this is yours? *tosses it callously towards him*

Whip: NYAAAAAAA-
*Whip flips out and hops back, flinging up his arms in defense*
Whip: ...Oh. Uh... yeah. ...Thanks.
*Whip stands idly for a few seconds awkwardly*
Whip: ....So.... I'm supposed to kick your butt now...

Girl: I accept your challenge. *releases a Skuntank* However, should I prove victorious, then your pokemon belong to me. Deal?
Skuntank: Skun... *seems to be glaring at Whip*

Whip: Huh... a Skuntank....
*Whip unlocks his PokeDex and aims it at the Pokemon*
Dex: Skuntank, the Skunk Pokemon. It sprays a stinky fluid from its tail. The fluid smells worse the longer it is allowed to fester.
Whip: Heh, not even a challenge! Alright, and when I win, you have to stand on my message trap!
*Without waiting for confirmation, Whip hops back even further and grips one of his pokeballs*
Whip: Alright, let's do this Eevee!
*He throws the ball, releasing his Eevee onto the stage. Eevee, as cute as he is, still attempts to return the glare to the Skuntank*

Girl: Scary face.
Skutank: *its glare worsens terribly, creating the great risk of anyone who falls victim to it to cower*

*Eevee hops into Whip's arms out of terror, whom as well seems frightened by the Pokemon's glare. He quickly gathers himself and throws Eevee back into the battle*
Whip: C'mon Eevee! Overtake that stupid Skuntank with a Quick Attack!
*Eevee, cringing from the glare, still builds up speed to tackle the opposing Pokemon*

Skuntank: *takes the quick attack without any major damage and only skids slightly*
Girl: Poison gas.
Skuntank: *rears up its tail and releases a toxic gas towards Eevee*

Whip: Eevee! Dig out of there and dodge!
*Eevee, still intimidated by the Skuntank, doesn't break from his stance quickly enough and is overcome by the gas. Eevee's face turns an unhealthy shade of purple and it begins to tremble*
Whip: Ack! Eevee!
Eevee: Vii...Eevv....
Whip: C'mon Eevee, Dig underground and surprise it!
*Eevee still finds the energy to burrow under the ground*

Skuntank: *doesn't seem to even have the idea to try and move to dodge the attack*
Girl: Is this really the best you can do?

Whip: SH-SHUT UP! GROUND BEATS POISON EVERY TIME! SURFACE EEVEE!
*Eevee begins a small eruption beneath the Skuntank*

Skuntank: *now decides to start moving around, and although it takes a few noticeable hits, it manages to dodge some of the attacks*

Whip: Eevee! Go into a Tail Whip!
*Eevee hops onto the ground and runs at the Skuntank, wagging his tail in its face and springing away*

Girl: Fury swipes.
Skuntank: *pursues Eevee and begins unleashing a barrage of scratches*

Eevee: V-vi-vii-vii-vii!
*Eevee flinches at each scratch*
Whip: Eevee, push off that Skuntank with a point-blank Quick Attack!
*Eevee, suffering through the incessant clawing, basically headbutts the opposing Pokemon*

Skuntank: *takes the hit and stops its assault*
Girl: ...You're stalling us, aren't you?

Whip: .....That depends.....
*Whip flips around and crouches, speaking into his walkie-talkie*

Pst, how's it going for you guys? Over.

FORGET YOU GUYS! over.

*Whip spins back around*
Whip: N-N-No, I am not trying to distract you!

*what Whip finds is that the girl is nowhere to be found, nor is her Skuntank*

Whip: ....WH-WHAT THE- EEVEE!
*Whip turns to scold his Pokemon, only to find it beaten by the toxins within itself*
Whip: ....GAAAAH! Return Eevee!
*Whip returns Eevee to his pokeball, aand then pulls out his walkie talkie*
