Trey: *looking around* Secret bases are always inside walls. We'll probably find the one that Galactic grunt hid in surrounded by a lot of traps.
Mana: Hmm... *taps her chin in thought, but seems to be still turning over as she asks a different question* So, what can you tell us about this... galactic thing?
Trey: *seems surprised* You haven't heard of them?
Mana: *shakes head* No. *looks at Whip* Have you heard anything about them while we've... been traveling, Whip?

Whip: Ne?
*Whip scratches his ear*
Whip: Nothing I've heard. That guy looked like a fruit loop with those tights, though.

Trey: Hm. I suppose it's not that strange you haven't heard of them. They're not really well-known. *pauses, and side steps in the cave, obviously dodging a trap, before continuing on walking* But I've heard of a lot of recent reports have popped up about how this organization called Team Galactic have been stealing pokemon or generally making a mess of things in certain towns and areas. Valley Windworks, Celestic Town, and the Great Marsh are just some areas they've targeted. *pauses to side step another trap, and begins to look frustrated* No one knows what they're really planning, but whatever it is, it can't be good. *halts and runs his hand through his hair, frustrated* I really hate these traps!
Mana: (her voice sounds a little ways back) You don't know how to disable them? And here I thought you knew everything~
Trey: *turns on her, irritated* I'd like to see you-
Mana: *holds up a bag of disabled traps triumphantly*
Trey: ... *turns around and storms off ahead* Just help me find the damn secret base.
Mana: *holds her hand to her mouth in fake shock* What a dirty mouth~! *turns to Whip for back up* Have you ever heard someone that tempermental~?

*Whip, in betrayal to everyone involved, smirks and symbolically plays with his hair*
Whip: Technically, not since you~
*As if a karmic eye is displeased with him, Whip finds himself caught in a trap, which activates and sends him flying into the nearest wall, upside-down, and send spirals into his eyes*

Mana: *giggles a bit* Looks like we missed one~
Trey: *sighs in irritation* Are you guys gonna help or not?
Mana: We'll help, alright? *begins to carefully examine the walls*

*Whip pulls rocks out of his hair, annoyed at Trey's tone*
Whip: Keep your pants on, pal. We're doing this out of charity you know~
*Whip leans against the wall he was previously thrusted into, only for it to collapse behind his hand and reveal an opened, hand-carved cavern within*

Mana: *turns around in surprise and looks at Wihp* Ah, Whip found a secret base Trey~
Trey: *raises an eyebrow and glances inside for only a moment before carelessly walking inside*
Mana: H-Hey! *huffs, and offers her hand to help Whip up* That's kind of reckless of him...

*Whip takes Mana's offer to help himself up and pats off his pants*
Whip: Yeah, but better him than us~
*Whip cracks his back, limbers his arms, and then bows for Mana*
Whip: Speaking of which, ladies first~

Mana: *crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow, amused* Shouldn't you go first then?
Trey: *comes back outside* Does that mean you're a man then? If you're a cross dresser, that explains why you're not lady-like at all.
Mana: ... *thrusts her bag onto Whip* Hold on Whip. I need to show this guy what I get in compensation for not being "lady-like".
Trey: *raises an eyebrow at Mana's threat of beating him up*

*Whip nearly falls over from the weight of Mana's bag, but still manages to hop between the two*
Whip: N-now now Mana! It's not worth it! Remember the goal!

Mana: *grits her teeth, but stands down and takes her bag back from Whip, glaring at Trey* What did you find there, anyways?
Trey: *brandishes a bag presumably filled with pokeballs* There's no one in there, but the idiot left the stolen pokeballs there. We might as well just leave now, seeing how the job's done.
Mana: *crosses her arms* And just let the galactic guy go?
Trey: *shrugs and tosses the bag over his shoulders* Not my problem.
Mana: *raises an eyebrow* And yet you went through the trouble of getting these pokemon back... *eyes the bag* There's pokemon in there that belong to you or someone you know, isn't there?
Trey: *is surprised by Mana's insightful observations* How did you...
Mana: *drops her irritation and smiles at Trey* Well what do you know~ He does have a heart~
Trey: *sighs exasperatedly and starts walking off* Thanks for the help, but I'm finished now.
Mana: You're not gonna help us catch the thief?
Trey: *pauses, and looks back* How are you going to manage that?
Mana: Oh come on. It's easy. *gestures to the cave* He obviously meant to come back. So we'll set up a trap for him when he gets here~
Trey: *looks skeptical* One trap isn't going to stop him, Mana.
Mana: Maybe not one... But how about seven? *grins mischievously*
Trey: What?
Mana: *dangles her bag* There's a lot of traps in here~ A good amount of them can send people flying in a direction or blow them in a storm~ I think I can manage something that'll leave him dizzy enough so that we can catch him.

*Whip finds himself sneaking through the bag in Mana's hands*
Whip: ....Hey~ A leaf trap! These things are the best!
*He pokes his head up and attends to the current discussion*
Whip: Well, it's not like he'll stand much of a chance, anyways. There are three of us, and one of him. I mean, he'd have to bring in a whole platoon of fruity-galactic tight-wearing thieves to beat my Eevee~

Mana: ... *sighs* I bet you've jinxed us now. Whatever~ *pulls out the traps and hands some of them out to the two boys, and then sets up two different traps that are meant to send the victim flying left of right* I'll take straight~ If he steps on this one, he'll come my direction and enter a rollercoaster of traps. You two set up your own trap rollercoasters~ *hands out walkie talkies to both of the boys as well* We'll contact each other when we've caught him~
Trey: *eyeing the walkie talkie* ...Do you just carry all sorts of things in your bag?
Mana: *laughs as if she's enjoying her own private joke* You really have no idea~ *waves* Good luck guys~

*Whip holds the traps in one hand and the walkie talkie in the other, and glances at Trey, left with the trainer once again*
Whip: So.... I guess it's time to catch this guy then, huh?
*He shrugs and smirks*
Whip: Try not to chicken out when I catch him, okay~?

Trey: *sighs and walks to his designated location* Just don't mess up.

*Whip is left smirking at nothing, before nonchalantly recovering and checking out his traps*
Whip: Alright... let's see... what to do...
*Left to his own devices, he begins dangerously experimenting with the traps, possibly having forgotten the goal*

[A few moments later]

Walkie Talkie:
This is Magician. Over.
...Why are you calling yourself Magician?
Because it's my code name! And you're supposed say over! Over.
Have I mentioned that you're kind of an idiot?
You've mentioned it a few times, but it fails to sink in~ Over.

*a sigh is heard*

My traps are set, by the way~ Over.

What about you, Hotel Destroyer? Over.

*A few groans are heard*

Walkie Talkie:
Hotel....Destroyer.... temporarily out of commission.... o-ouf....over....

*Some crumbling sounds make their way through, and more crying*

.....Traps are set......Assistance needed..... my spine... I'll meet up... in a minute....

*another sigh is heard over the walkie talkie*
I'll head over to Hotel Destroyer, so stay in your position JWHG. Over.

*a sudden clicking noise is heard, suggesting Mana has turned off her walkie talkie*

Trey: ...

*Mana enters the area where Whip is and see the large boulders and stuff*
Mana: Soooo, how'd you manage this?

Whip: Don't.... even..... Just help me out. ><
*Whip struggles under the boulder, desperately and pathetically hitting it with his pickaxe*

Mana: Hmm... *looks at the boulders, evaluating it* This would be a hassle in any shape or form for me. Oh well~ *lets out Tsunami and Volt out of their pokeballs* Can you manage Amy and Eevee?
Tsunami: ... *looks at the shinx with an offended expression* Pip.
Volt: *sweatdrops* Shi-iii-nx...

Whip: MANA, YOU BIG JERK, WHY CAN'T YOU JUST USE SOME MAGIC TO-
*The sound of a pokeball, a bright red light, and Whip's pained squeak. In the quick motion, Amy somehow managed to sit herself atop Whip's boulder, adding her fair weight to the rocks and causing Whip to cry into the dirt*

Mana: Because I try not to use magic in a world that doesn't exactly have any. *her expression twists into a grimace as if she's remembering something sour* It can attract the wrong kind of attention. *loses the bitter expression and smiles at the pokemon* Let's help him out, alright~?
Volt: Shinx! *starts to try and push the boulders out of the way with his head*
Tsunami: ... *crosses fins and looks away* Pip.
Mana: -.- (in a warning voice) Tsunami....
Tsunami: *turns his head the other way* Pip.
Mana: ...I'll feed you human fish.
Tsunami: *suddenly looks a little more alert and interested* ...
Mana: So long as you help Whip out, I'll even let you bargain for two.
Tsunami: *turns back around to face Mana with a serious expression* Pi-piplup.
Mana: Three.
Tsunami: Piplup.
Mana: Five, take it or leave it.
Tsunami: *nods* Piplup. *begins to help Volt*
Mana: *looks a little disgruntled* I think I just got scammed.

*The boulders start rolling, slowly and painfully, over Whip, until finally, he becomes unpinned and only slightly mangled, and pulls himself up in a disgruntled manner to Amy*
Whip: ....What kind of Pokemon friend are you?
Amy: Miii~
*Amy looks away innocently, and Whip just returns her*
Whip: ...S-so... have you and JWHG gotten your traps set then?

Mana: *nods* Yeah. Where's yours?
