*The two materials float into the air, circling around each other and a little chime is heard*

Cream: Good luck, Sir Van~!
Mana: Don't do anything excessive with it! Follow your gut!

*The Celestial Bronze shines brightly, being selected*
Melt the material until liquid!

*A little fire pops up in front of the four, and a small cup and metal prongs appear out of nowhere to help Van*

*Van seems surprised by the sudden appearance*
Van: Wh-Ah, Oh, So, I-
*Van takes the cup in hand and cautiously puts the Celestial Bronze into it. He holds the cup over the fire, and curiously prods the bronze with the prongs, unsure of what to do with them*

Mana: *sweatdrops* Um-
Cream: Sir Van, watch your time! *gestures to a timer in the form of an hourglass that is quickly running out of sand*
Mana: And your hand. *looking at how the flames near his hands*
Cream: If you run out of time before completing the task, it wears away the value of the item you are crafting.

Van: I- Okay-!
*Van anxiously pushes the cup closer to the flame, trying to melt the bronze, when his hand touches the fire too closely, causing him to drop the cup with a short yelp. He stumbles to pick it back up, and AU Whip hides a smirk the entire time*

Mana: *catches the smirk and punches AU Whip in the arm that comes off rather painful for the level two player*
Cream: Uh-oh!

Time up!

*Although the cup and its somewhat melted remains are salvaged and left behind, the fire and other items disappear, and a large letter C shines above the material thus far*

*Van sweatily pulls up, holding the cup in his hands and bits of melted bronze sticking to his gloves*
Van: ....H-how'd I do? ^v^;

Mana: *points behind him* Van, your next task!

*behind Van, the screen holds the next set of directions with a quickly emptying hourglass, and a bucket of water as well as metal prongs have appeared once again*

Cool off the material and withdraw it quickly!

Van: Ack!
*Van is startled by the sudden timer and instructions and begins pouring the liquid bronze into the water. He hurriedly shoves the prongs in and tries to pull out the cooled material*

*Van completes the task before the timer runs out. A little chime goes off, and the letter D floats above the cooled and clumpy material*

Mana: *looks horrified* V-Van...
Cheese: *covers his eyes with his hands and shakes his head* Chao chaaao chao...
Cream: I-It's okay, Sir Van... Most people do the steps out of order anyways...

Van: O-out of order?
AU Whip: Your blade would impale a tree before you could hit an enemy with it.
*Van looks down at his blade, misshapen due to cooling in a free-liquid form. His face turns a dejected blue*
Van: ....I'm horrrrible at this....

Mana: *places a comforting hand on Van's shoulder* It takes practice, my friend. Take it from one who never could manage a single spell right but eventually learned how to summon~
Cream: *nods in encouragement* You did fine as your first try, anyways!

*Van emptily laughs*
Van: Yeah, you're right. Guess I have to keep practicing, huh?
*Van smiles at Mana*
Van: Just give me a week. I'll be a master crafter by then~!
AU Whip: Wait, how have we sustained ourselves in this world if we've been here for a week?

Mana: *waves off AU Whip* I am positive my sister formulated a solution to such a problem before.
Cream: *tugs on Mana's sash* Lady Mana, perhaps it is time to make your way towards the feast hall?
Mana: *nods at Cream with a smile* Yes, that seems like an excellent idea, Cream~ Will you be accompanying us?
Cream: *shakes her head* No thank you~ I'll get back to Mama now.
Mana: *nods* I understand. *blinks, and there's a mischievous look in her eye and looks over to the three mercenaries* Team Chaotix?
*the trio approach*
Espio: Yes, your Royal Highness?
Charmy: *salutes* Team Chaotix at your service!
Mana: Will you three escort Lady Cream to her mother, please? I could not bear the thought of her getting hurt.
Vector: *blushes furiously* L-Lady Vanilla??
Mana: *smiles pleasantly at the crocodile* Did my words stumble upon their journey to exit my mouth?
Vector: *he jerks his head back and forth rapidly in denial* N-No, My Lady!
Charmy: *snickers* Vector and Vanilla, sitting in a tree~ K-I-S-S-I-N-G~!
Vector: *angrily turns on Charmy* SHUT UP YOU LITTLE BRAT!
Espio: Vector. *gestures to Mana, as if he's saying, "Not in front of the Princess," and gives him a stern look*
Vector: *his already tinted face turns darker and he bows to Mana* My apologies. *looks to Cream* Let's get you to your mama, alright?
Cream: *nods with a smile* Yes Sir Vector~

*The four bow to Mana and say, "By your leave," before exiting the premise*

Mana: *looks to the two with a smile* Shall we~?

*Van smirks at Mana whilst holding his muzzle*
Van: Well well, Mana~ Quite the matchmaker, aren't you~?

Mana: *smiles mischievously* I believe such a warning was given out earlier~ *makes her way towards the insides of the castle* Come, we must make haste in order to please my parents.

Van: Right!
*Van starts walking after her, and motions to AU Whip*
Van: C'mon Whip, keep up~!
*AU Whip's expression is exasperated, and he doesn't even try to argue his point as he follows them*

Mana: *as they make their way towards the feast hall, she notes the exasperated Whip and conspiratorially whispers to Van in a voice loud enough that the rabbit can hear* What do you believe, Van? Are you under the assumption that is his normal expression from sunrise to sunset, or does the impression that he is only this downcast because his Mana is unable to grace him with her presence at this given moment please you better~?

*AU Whip's vein angrily pops up, and Van smirks happily as he joins in*
Van: He does seem pretty downtrodden that his Mana isn't here. It's almost as if he can't live properly without her~
*WHACK*
Van: OW! Wh-why me?!
*AU Whip holds his fist in his palm as Van gingerly nurses the new lump on his head. AU Whip's glare drifts to Mana as well*
AU Whip: ...Because it's improper to hit a Princess.

Mana: *scoffs* As if you held the potential~ *gives AU Whip a concerned look* However, I stand by my statement. You seem very irritable, Whip. Are you feeling well?

*AU Whip blinks, and then looks down contemplatively*
AU Whip: ...Do you know where... the Magician class starts?

Mana: *blinks in surprise* Magician? *pauses to contemplate the idea, thinking deeply* Hmm... I would believe the Magician Class begins in the land where alchemists mostly are, seeing how it's a branch of the Magician Class. *sweatdrops and looks sheepish* Actually, perhaps I should mind my tongue... They usually do not take well to that idea, seeing how the class between Magicians and Alchemists are arguable a bit... tense.

I believe the most common and well-known area is <<Generation Jurisdiction>>, but it is a land I am almost forbidden from travel to, due to the very tense situations between the people and the government. *frowns uncomfortably* Perhaps that is why Hana forced me to undertake Princess Class first, among other reasons. *looks at Whip with a weak but comforting smile* If it helps at all, I am under the impression Brawlers have the tendency to start there as well. It is not uncommon for magicians to be escorted in protection.

*AU Whip doesn't seem to be very comforted by the idea, but he does look to be put at ease by the information*
AU Whip: ...
*Van sympathetically pats AU Whip on the back*
Van: I'll admit, I have no idea what's going on. But, if it's important to you that we find <<Generation Jurisdiction>> and our friends that are there, then we'll do our best, right Mana~?
*Van's indomitable chipperness manifests itself into a smile*

Mana: *nods and returns the brilliant smile* Without a shadow of a doubt in my mind~

*Van laughs shortly and gives a quick nod of his head. AU Whip smirks for just a second*
AU Whip: ....Well, it will have to wait. One objective at a time. Let's properly impress the King and Queen.
Van: No problem~ Just remember the soup spoon from the dinner spoon and you'll be fine~
*AU Whip stops dead in his tracks, and the air around him drops a few degrees*
Van: ....
AU Whip: ....
Van: ....
AU Whip: ....A proper dinner.... we'll be.... using manners...
Van: ...You... do know your table manners, right?
AU Whip: .... Mana tried to teach me, but....

*The trio approach extravagant doors that obviously lead to the feast hall, and Mana looks behind her to address Whip*
Mana: Do not fret, as the task is simple. All you must do is utilize the feasting utensils from the outermost placed to the innermost. Spoons are for liquids, such as soups, and forks are for solids such as vegetables and meat~
*The doors open for Mana and loud fanfare begins from the nearby trumpets and bands, announcing their presence*
