Aboard the Airship~

*Whip mocks her with his hand as the elevator descends. Rikku smiles at Mana*
Rikku: Hey Mana, you did pretty great out there! Beating a fiend, saving the airship, you're a full-blown Summoner, huh~?

Mana: *has thrown a random projectile at Whip's head* No, not really. *sweatdrops at the thought* I didn't really know what to do when they were actually summoned. They're a bit different than my normal ones.

Rikku: But you adapted pretty well! You even got those three to listen to you, and Yunie knows how tough that is~
*The elevator stops at the main piloting deck, and Yuna looks up from the pilot's seat, apparently having been randomly pressing buttons to keep them afloat. Whip sets Sugar down, whom blushes as she thanks him*
Yuna: You're okay!

Mana: *nods and jumps out of Rikku's arms* Yup~ *turns to Rikku* And thanks for dragging my sorry butt here, Rikku~

Rikku: You're "sorry butt" saved our lives~ And it weighs like, 20 kilograms...
Whip: Yeah, well, if this celebration is over, we've still got stuff to do~!
*Whip clasps his hands together*
Whip: There's a guy who's butt needs kicking for reasons I don't know, aaaaand-
*Whip points to Mana*
Whip: We've gotta find out what's wrong with your lost summons and bring 'em back~!
Rikku: Way to take lead~
Sugar: Something about being on the airship does this to him....

Mana: *eyes Whip suspiciously for a moment* ...Who are you and what have you done with Whip?

*Whip returns with his own steely gaze*
Whip: Sorry, he's off on a well-deserved vacation~! You're looking at the captain of this craft!
*Whip slams his foot on the pilot's controls, striking an "inspirational" pose. Rikku and Yuna giggle nervously, but Sugar nods*
Sugar: S-sir yes sir!
Whip: We need to set a course to--
*Whip pauses*
Whip: ...Sugar, fill me in, what's going on here?
*Rikku falls back whilst Sugar rushes up and starts whispering into his ear*

Mana: *nods approvingly* Now that's familiar.

Whip: ALRIGHT!
*Whip slams his fist on the GPS in the center of the room, activating it*
Whip: If you want to hunt a dead guy out, you obviously have to look where dead guys hang out the most!
*Whip pulls one spot of the map of Spira out*
Whip: That means either Guadosalam, or...
*Whip zooms out and expertly zooms back into another spot of the map*
Whip: Zanarkand.
*Yuna makes a motion, but not a very noticeable one*
Whip: We'll have to go to one of these places and try luring him out!
*Whip "closes" the map*
Whip: Now then, one of you has to decide which.
Rikku: I thought you were the captain!
Whip: AS CAPTAIN, I ORDER YOU TO DECIDE! I can't do everything myself, can I~?

Mana: A captain is nothing without his crew, after all~ *after that jab, she turns to the girls* What do you guys suggest? I don't know Spira like you guys do.

Rikku: I dunno, they both make sense~
*Rikku crosses her arms and chews on a finger*
Rikku: The Guadosalam's got the Farplane, which makes sense for Seymour to be at...
*Sugar interjects*
Sugar: And Zanarkand is the home to the most unsent souls in Spira.
*Yuna seems oddly quiet, and Rikku takes note with a concerned expression*
Rikku: ...What do you think, Yunie?
Yuna: ....I think... we should look in Zanarkand.
Rikku: Are you sure?
Yuna: Yeah, of course.
*Yuna nods and puts on a smile*
Yuna: Besides, I think Issaru is still there, watching over the monkeys. He can tell us if anything strange has happened.
*Rikku surges with excitement*
Rikku: I forgot about the monkeys! They're so cute!
*Yuna and Sugar both giggle. Whip, in the background, seems left out and grumbling about "Captain's rights"*

Mana: *stares at the girls with a blank expression* ...Monkeys?

*Rikku's pretty much got stars in her eyes*
Rikku: Yeah! Lots of them! They just started piling up around Zanarkand, and they're so cute!
*Rikku begins hopping around. Yuna sweatdrops*
Sugar: For some reason, the fiends don't really affect them either~

Mana: ... *her face, however, is one that's unsure and looks almost as if she's reliving a bad memory* ...When you guys say monkeys, you mean monkeys that have long tails and like to eat bananas usually, right? Not like... some kind of different type of monkey? Friendly monkeys?

Rikku: Well, one of those monkeys was pretty grumpy last time, but yeah, those are the kinds~!
Yuna: What other monkeys are there?

Mana: *her face is shadowed* The giant demon ones that try and steal your soul.

Yuna: ....
Rikku: ....
Sugar: ....
Rikku: ....You know, maybe I don't want to visit your world anymore....

Mana: *eyes brighten* Oh, no~ Not my world. Mobius is much nicer~ It was the world I got Black Rose Dragon and... Stardust.

Rikku: ....Oh....
*Everyone goes silent again*

Whip: Oi!
*Whip calls everyone to attention again*
Whip: Have you girls made up your minds yet?
*Rikku seems annoyed*
Rikku: Girls talking! Boys, please wait over there!
*Whip puffs out his cheeks*

Mana: *laughs* That distinction doesn't work on the ever cross-dressing Whip~ *turns to address Whip* I guess we're going to Zanarkand!

*Whip grumbles, but turns and approaches the GPS unit*
Whip: Fine then. Sugar!
*Sugar hops up*
Whip: Get on the controls! I'm setting a course for Zanarkand!
Sugar: Yes Whip!
*Sugar runs into the pilot's seat and begins mashing buttons and pulling levers, and Whip points to Zanarkand on the map*
Whip: Alright, let's go!
*Sugar smacks a button, and the airship--*
*...*
*Slightly turns to the right*
Whip: ....
Sugar: ....
Yuna: ...
Rikku: ....
Whip: ....Sugar...?
Sugar: ....We were.... already facing the right direction, it seems....
Whip: ....Well alright then....
*Whip seems pretty let-down by the lack of exciting transition in direction*

Mana: *pats Whip comfortingly on the back* If it helps, at least you were ahead of the game~ *seems to be enjoying the pain Whip endures throughout the day*

*Whip sighs*
Whip: How long until we're there, Sugar?
*Sugar starts checking on some random lights and screens*
Sugar: I have no idea what these mean, but it can't be far~
Whip: .....S-so Mana..... read any good books-
Rikku: HEY! I totally forgot about the tour!
Whip: Thank you for saving us from that awkward small talk Rikku~!
*Rikku snatches Mana's arm up*
Rikku: C'mon, let's go to the top of the deck! We'll see what we can see before we're in Zanarkand!
Sugar: Wait, weren't we flying over Mt. Gagazet? How have we gotten all the way to Macalania?
*Whip shushes Sugar loudly*

Mana: That sounds awesome! *grins wickedly at Whip for whatever reason, and then turns the grin on Rikku* Race you~! *takes off towards the deck again*

Rikku: H-hey! No fair!
*Rikku runs after her as well, leaving Whip looking pretty complacent for a little bit*
Whip: .......HEY WAIT A MINUT-

*Rikku pops out of the elevator back onto the top deck, breathing fairly heavily*
