Mana: *suddenly freezes for a few moments, her smile and wave unmoving from her spot, before suddenly whirling on Whip* WHA-A-AAAAAT!?

*Whip cringes*
Whip: I-I DON'T KNOW! BUT SHE SAID SHE WAS FROM ETERNA CITY, AND SHE'S ALL ABOUT GRASS TYPES!
*Ralts pretends to be freaked out as well*

Mana: *flips open her bag and looks at a piece of paper that, for whatever reason, has all the gym leaders' pictures and descriptions* ... *looks at Whip with a somewhat horrified look* It was.

Whip: OMIGOSH THE GYM LEADER OF ETERNA CITY JUST PASSED US BY!
*...*
Whip: AND SHE CALLED MY RALTS "CUTE"! HOW DO WE REACT TO THIS!?

Mana: HAPPILY! *picks up Ralts with a fiery expression* CONGRATS, RALTS! YOU HAVE BEEN HONORED WITH THE TITLE, "CUTE!"

Rose: *is obviously depressed that the Gym Leader didn't pay any attention to her, a grass type, and has taken to sulking in Eevee's tail*

*Whip snatches Ralts*
Whip: C'MERE RALTS! YOU'RE MY POKEMON, AND I'M SO GLAD THAT YOU'VE WON THIS GREAT HONOUR FOR ME!
*Ralts looks confused. Eevee, whom had been comforting Rose, takes an arrow to the head and sulks as well*

Mana: *continues to work on serving people* Let's finish this up so we grab some honey here and then head to Eterna Forest~ *gains an evil look* It's about time I captured a Buneary...

*Whip studies Mana's expression*
Whip: ...I'm not too sure about your sadistic look when you talk about capturing it....

Mana: *loses the evil expression and puffs out her cheeks* Who says it's sadistic? Try: darkly determined~ *serves another trainer*

Whip: Heh. That's a creative way of putting it~

*Several hours of serving trainers and multiple gripings later*

Whip: FINALLY! QUITTIN' TIME!
*Whip throws off his hairnet just as the Chef comes in*
Chef: I expect you here tomorrow, at the same time!
Whip: Pft, yeah, that'll happen.
Chef: What?!
Whip: Expect it! C'mon Mana, let's not hang around here too much longer! >>;

Mana: *retreating to a room in the Pokemon Center, surprisingly drained from the whole experience* Imma take a nap, first...

Whip: Naaap!?
*Whip runs into the room and pushes Mana impatiently*
Whip: We've just stood around all day! What do you need-
*Whip opens his mouth and yawns loudly*
Whip: ....Wh-what do... yo-oooooooouuuu.....
*Whip yawns again*
Whip: Hah....

*Mana has crashed onto her bed with her sleepy Pokemon piling on top of her and also dozing off into dreamland*

*Whip blinks sleepily at her now snoring form*
Whip: ....I guesss.... I ca-aaaaaaaaaaw-n.... lie down for a bit....
*Whip finds his own bed and lies down on it. Eevee having joined Rose with Mana, leaves Whip to sleep by his own devices. At least, until Ralts crawls next to him and lies down beside him, mimicking his pose. He falls asleep with a smile~*

[Later]

*hushed whispers are heard in the edge of Whip's sleep*

Shh~! C'mon!
Pip pip pip pip pip...
Dew bud dew Budew dew-
Shiiinx!
Star star-
Guuuuys!
Shinx...
Star...
Dew...
Alright! One... Two...

Mana: THREE!

*All of her Pokemon (and Whip's if they're willing to help) jump onto the bed simultaneously, letting the bed bounce up on unconscious Whip's side, possibly sending him flying~*

*Indeed, the weight of the Pokemon tosses Whip up, though the disbalance caused by a certain Miltank joining in sends him high into the rafters which he clings to in terrific fear, screaming to the point where his voice cracks slightly*
Whip: WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!?

*Mana and her pokemon, however, are unable to respond, as they are currently dying of laughter*

Mana: *pounding the ground with teary eyes and then rolls as she holds her stomach* I-I-I can't! It hurts! It hurts!!

*Whip plummets to the ground, landing with an audible "thud" as if the ground shared his frustrated sentiment. His face is completely red, and he stomps on Mana's foot to get her attention, not even bothering with the air-deprived Pokemon around him*
Whip: STOP LAUGHING! >//A//<

Mana: (in between choked laughs) I-I-I'm trying! BUT I CAN'T! *continues her rolling around on the floor session*
Wynn: *first one to recover and flies onto Whip's head, supposedly a comforting gesture*

*Whip gives up, sighing, annoyed, and neither appreciating nor taking offense to Wynn's comfort*
Whip: Well I'm going! C'mon Eevee, Amy, Ralts!
*Eevee and Amy are still joined alongside Mana, much to Whip's aggravation. Ralts does not laugh, but mimics Mana's rolling along the floor anyways*
Whip: YOU'RE ALL TRAITORS!

Mana: *wheezing as she gets up* Haaah... Haah... *wipes away tears* Okay, okay. Let's go back into the town~

*Whip crosses his arms and turns away in a huff*
Whip: Whatever....
*Whip angrily returns the teary-eyed Pokemon to their capsules*
Whip: Lead the way... Ya' big jerk...

Mana: *has returned all her Pokemon as well* (singsong) Hope you don't mind that I'm getting some honey first for the Pokemon~

Whip: THOSE TRAITORS DON'T NEED ANY HONEY!
*Whip crosses his arms and mumbles about the map, however, and decides not to argue with her*

*The two make their way outside and Mana leads the way to the area where she saw a man selling honey. The girl looks around as they walk, humming contently*
Mana: You know, if I ever lived in Sinnoh for awhile, I think I'd live here~
