Rei: *sighs* When he was alive he did.

*Sugar's face turns red, and she seems to vow to silence to avoid further muddling the mood*

Rei: *continues to unpack in silence. It isn't long until she can't take the silence knowing that someone else is there as well, making her decide to speak up.* It's complicated and I can't explain it since it's part of my job; but I met him after he died in this world. Though he was very much a normal healthy, LIVING human when we met.

*Sugar seems cautiously curious, and her tone stays quiet whilst she speaks*
Sugar: How.... did that happen?

Rei: What? How did he die in this world? Or how did we meet?

Sugar: Yes.
*Sugar blushes from her empty-minded answer*
Sugar: I-I mean, both, if that's not... any trouble...

Rei: I can't really tell you how we met, other than we were part of the same group and partnered together. As for how he died in this world... I believe he died of a fever.

(*Sneezes on the dust*
Whoa, Rei! Ah, it's been so long! Glad to see you back~)

*Sugar takes in the information and, realizing the thin ice she treads on, continues to push*
Sugar: A fever.... But.... you said you met him afterwards....

(Not sure how long for. Since in a couple a days I'll be beyond busy.)

Rei: It's complex.

(Kwaaaaah! Fine then, we'll just have to take advantage of your free time~!)

Sugar: Ah, I-I understand... I didn't mean to pry....
*Sugar quickly looks away*

Rei: Hn. *she glances at the remaining boxes and frowns.* Since you've never been in this dimension, how ' bout a tour?

*Sugar props back to face Rei again*
Sugar: Really? I'd love one!

Rei: Alright let's go. *Rei picks up her messenger bag and walks towards the door.*

*Sugar excitedly skips to the door and holds it open for Rei*
Sugar: After you~

Rei: Thanks... *She walks outside the doorway and waits for Sugar.*

*Sugar skips outside and closes the door behind her*
Sugar: So, where to first~?
*Sugar puts her hand to her cheek in thought*
Sugar: How abooout, you're favourite place here~?

Rei: *Shakes her head slowly* I'm still new here so I don't exactly have a favorite place, yet. Though I do have an idea of somewhere we could go.

Sugar: Lead the way then~!

(So it's true~! You have returned, at least for this while~ >w< Welcome back for now, Rei~!)

Rei: Alright. *Locks the door, before heading towards the exit of the building.*

(I'm back for good Whip. I have a new computer and free time while I look for a new job.)

(....D= What happened to your old one?)

Sugar: So where are you showing me to?
*Sugar holds her hands behind her back as she walks*

(My old job or my old computer.)

Rei: It's a bit of a surprise.

(Both. >>; )

Sugar: A surprise~? What kind of surprise~?
*Sugar doesn't seem to be taking the suspense very well*

(My cat broke the computer screen, and my job treated me poorly, to the point that I almost collapsed on my way to work because I was that sick. So my mom and Roxas had me quit.)

Rei: You'll see. *Walks out of the building and down the street with Sugar in tow.*

(...That is one string of bad luck. ._.; Still, at least you're okay now, right?)

Sugar: Hoooouuuu!
*Sugar trails behind Rei, outpacing her with her excitement, as if a field trip with Rei were a special treat she'd always wanted*

(Yeah, I'm not a lucky person. But my old job is short changing me when it comes to my taxes. I made more money and worked more hours than they said on my last few paychecks. And now I won't be getting the money I should come tax returns.)

Rei: *sighs calmly and raises her eyes up.* I see you're excited. It's like she's on a sugar high, I guess her name really fits her.
