The City of Luca~

Luca, the second largest city in all of Spira, and the Blitzball capital of the world. Home to the largest Blitzball stadium, this magnificent city attracts people from all across Spira to enjoy one of the world's only pastimes~

Mana: *lowers them down so they can skim the water* Wow~! It's even more beautiful up front~!

*With Whip and Sugar*
Dawg: *Follows the two to the control room* Man, it sure has been a long time since we've seen Luca, and last time they weren't playing any Blitzball games, if I remember right..

*Rikku's hair, already an amalgamation of braids and frizz, seems as windswept as her expression*
Rikku: Yeah, it is!
*Rikku lowers her hand into the water, not bothered by the sting of their velocity, and appreciative of the water splashing at her from it*
Rikku: This is amazing...

(Dawg.... Whip, Dawg, and Sugar are still on the airship... >>; )

Mana: *notices the large sphere and flies back up so she can circle it from afar* What is that place?

*Rikku shades her eyes from the sun*
Rikku: Oh, that's the Blitzball stadium. It's where the Blitzers gather and play against each other.
*Rikku starts motioning with her hands*
Rikku: Imagine, this big... ball.... pooly thing, and it fills all the way to the top with water. Then the Blitzers get in and play Blitzball!

Mana: *surprised* They play ball in underwater?

Rikku: Yeah! A Blitzer has to train himself to hold their breath for a long time. I heard that the really good ones can sleep underwater...

Mana: ...Sleep underwater?! How- How does someone go that long without air?!

Rikku: Practice.
*Rikku says this as if it were completely understandable*

Sugar: No, I do believe we were out of season the last time we visited.
Whip: Not like it mattered. We were shot out of the sky pretty quickly anyways...

Mana: *hold up a finger, looking like she's ready to try and argue against it, but then shakes her head* Nope. Not even going to try and argue with that one. Well, anyways... *looks towards the stadium again* Are they having a game now?

Rikku: Actually, the first game of the season is gonna start up tomorrow.
*Rikku points to herself matter-of-factually*
Rikku: I happen to know the captain of one of the teams that're going to be playing~

Mana: *obviously shocked* Y-You play Blitzball? You can hold your breath that long?

*Rikku shakes her head*
Rikku: No no! Not me!
*Rikku pauses*
Rikku:....Well, I can play, yeah~ But I'm not a captain.
*Rikku starts to continue, but then seemingly notices something that causes her to point*
Rikku: Hey! I think that's him over there!
*Rikku jumps up, despite their height, and starts waving*
Rikku: HEEEEY! WAKKA! LULUUU!

Mana: Whoa! *quickly tries to rebalance Matchmaker, and succeeds* Lulu? Didn't you mention her before?

*Rikku seems to jump even harder*
Rikku: That's right! Lulu's a mage! She'll totally relate to you! HEY LULUUU-
*Rikku's foot slips, she starts to fall, and then grapples the side of the Matchmaker, her weight shifting the balance of the gear*

Mana: Huwah! *the gear is turning topsy turvy now in a way she won't let her re-balance it * AH! NEW PLAN! LET GO OF THE GEAR AND JUMP, RIKKU! *jumps off her extreme gear*

Rikku: WH-WHAT!?
*Willing or not, without Mana's weight, the gear completely flips, bucking Rikku's weak grip and sending her plummeting to the ground*
Rikku: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
*Rikku covers her eyes, awaiting the floor, only to instead be engulfed in a harsh current of water, the same water catching Mana and roughly tossing them into the floor just outside the docks. The water causes people to jump away, and Rikku comes out of the spontaneous liquid net coughing and sputtering*
Rikku: *Hack* ....Wh-what happe-*cough*
:That was a dangerous fall you took, Rikku.
:Ya, you nearly took an express visit to the Farplane, huh?

Mana: *coughing like she's trying to spit our a hairball* Ack, ack! *spits* Ewww, salt water... S-Sorry for the fall Rikku... I thought my magic would've kicked in a bit earlier...

*The couple both suddenly notice Mana*
Wakka: 'Ey, look what the cat dragged in, ya?
Lulu: Who is this? A friend of yours, Rikku?
*Rikku coughs the last of the water out of her lungs and hops right back up, as if nothing had happened*
Rikku: Yeah! This is Mana! She's a magician, like you Lulu!
Wakka: Hah, 'ey, I think you're using the wrong word....
Lulu: Why is that Wakka? Did you have a more descriptive word?
Wakka: No Ma'am!
*Wakka shakes his head quickly, moving his arms apprehensively*

Mana: *gets up and begins wringing out her shirt while looking at the two sheepishly* I'm still training. I'm not that great yet. *takes off her hat, and pulls out her wand* And I don't know if I could be considered a magician here, anyways... *uses her wand to take out the water out of her fur and clothes and sends it back into the ocean, before addressing Rikku* Want me to take out the water, Rikku?

Rikku: No thanks, I'm fine.
*Rikku seems miraculously dry*
Wakka: I see you're still usin' those dresspheres, 'uh?
Rikku: You bet! I actually forgot I still had it on.
*Lulu seems more concentrated on Mana*
Lulu: Your magic... It's very different from the magic found on Spira.
Rikku: Uh huh! It's 'cause she's from another world!
Wakka: Another world, 'uh? Wouldn't be the first time someone made such a claim...
Lulu: I feel as though it won't be the last, either.

Mana: Huh, now that I think about it, I did kinda ditch Whip and the others...
...
Oh well~

So, wait, what are dresshperes?

Rikku: Oh! I forgot! Here, I'll show you!
Wakka: Oooh boy...
*Rikku jumps up and pulls out a blue half-sphere with a golden embroidered frame. Inside the sphere is a pad of some sorts, with four little emblems inside each spot on the pad. Rikku's finger seems to phase through the sphere and presses one of the emblems, and she's instantly engulfed in a bright light.
