Future City

Silver: *looks back at them* I need to get a message out to a friend of mine so that she can help me stop this crazy guy before things get out of hand. Do you guys mind accompanying me back to the city? I'll make sure you guys can have a place to stay until I figure out how to get you guys back home if you want.

Solo: Sure, I don't mind.

Zero: It's a bit strange to see you offer such a thing to two strangers that you don't know the names of.

Solo: Why do you always question everything? Is it in your programming or something?

Zero: No, I just find his actions strange. Though I have no problem with what he proposes.

Silver: *blinks* Oh, right. Your names. *rubs the back of his head out of embarrassment* Sorry. I got caught up with everything. I'm Silver, as you already know. What's your names?

Solo: You can call me Solo. *motions to the girl he's been calling Zero* She doesn't really have a name and will answer to pretty much anything you decide to call her. Well aside from one name, but I'm not even allowed to mention that.

Zero: So far I've only been called by my project name, you are more than welcome to call me by anything you'd like; as Solo stated.

Silver: I guess I'll figure something out then. It'd be easier if you just told me a name to call you by... Everyone on this planet tends to choose obvious names. Like Silver. *shakes head* Anyways, it's nice to meet you two. I'm assuming you guys are the ones who helped me out? *gestures to the cooling pad on his head*

[Solo hasn't called her Zero since Silver's been up. ]

Solo: Well she did, but yeah.

[...Shhh, plot hole. XD Don't worry, I'll fix it~ ]

Silver: Anyways, thanks. *his spikes raise up as he uses his telekinesis and floats into the air* Ready to go?

*Both nod*

Solo: Yeah, *slings the bag over his shoulder.* We're ready.

Zero: *puts out the fire*

Silver: Alright. *takes off flying back towards the city*

Solo: ...... I guess it's the same deal as always.

Zero: *nods* Alright. *She walks behind Solo and wraps her arms around him as if she was giving him a hug.*

Solo: *adjusts his grip on their bag, while making sure it'll be sercure.*

Zero: *Takes off into the air with Solo in her grip as she flies after Silver.*

[Back In Future City]

Silver: *drops down in front of a building that has Roman-like architecture, save for the floating platforms and the neon blue roof and ebony steel structure* Let's go inside. This is pretty much a hotel, but I should be able to contact my friend here.

Zero: *places Solo on the ground gently before landing next to him. Hearing Silver's coment she gives a nod.* ........... So who's this friend of yours?

Solo: *looking at the hotel, taking in the details.*

Silver: Princess-slash-Queen Blaze of the Sol Kingdom. But to me, she's just Blaze, a long time friend. She kinda hates being called by titles like "Your Highness" anyways... *heads inside*

*Both Solo and Zero walk in after Silver. *

*the two are greeted by a stunning view of a neo-replica of the inside of a Roman temple*
Silver: *nonchalantly heads over to an area with pop-up holographic screens*

Zero: *Isn't really all impressed, though she does take in the architecure.*

Solo: *Follows Silver without really caring about the decor.*

Silver: *a holographic screen pops up and he enter a few codes into it, when a beam of light examines Silver*
Pop-Up: Scanning... Identity Confirmed: Silver the Hedgehog. *the pop-up shines a light in front of Silver, which materializes into what seems to be an annoyed lavender cat*
Silver: *sweatdrops and looks nervous* A-Ah. Blaze. I... take it you've heard what happened?
Blaze: *critical amber eyes sharpen at Silver, and her tail flicks in agitation as she crosses her arms* And I take it you let Nega get away again?
Silver: *looks guiltily at the floor as he rubs the back of his quills*
Blaze: *sighs, but then examines the humans behind Silver* Who are they?

Zero: *gives the projection of the cat a cold analizing look. A slight scowl on her face.* They can hear you. If you want to know who we are then ask us.

Solo: *Isn't really fazed be his companions behavior.* You can call me Solo. *He nods over towards Zero* She doesn't really have a name. Right babe?

Zero: *gives Solo a bit of a confused look, causing her to lose her scowl.* Right... but why...? *she sighs* Nevermind. *She turns her head away from everyone so they can't see her face at the moment.*

Blaze: ... *looks back at Silver with a questioning look*
Silver: *rubs the back of his quills sheepishly* They kind of picked me out of the crater I made when I crash landed and gave me medical attention?
Blaze: *sighs and looks at the two* Well, you have my thanks. *looks back at Silver* I recently put my family's artifacts under heavy protection, but until that menace is captured and locked away again, we both know that there is no guarantee of the items staying safe. I will rendezvous with you at the Sacred Peak to discuss our plans.
Silver: *turns serious and nods* Understood.
Blaze: *nods as well and turns around, taking off a white short cape that has a magenta pattern on the bottom as the hologram fades out*
Silver: *turns around* So I guess I'll just check you guys into this hotel?

Solo: No thanks. We don't really need you to get us a place to stay.

Silver: *blinks* Oh, uh, alright... But where are you going to stay? Do you two just wander around and camp when you need to?

Solo: We have our own goals for why we travel. We only camp when we have to.

Zero: ... I suppose our travels are part of our "job." We simply do not except this level of charity.

Silver: Your job? What's that?

Solo: It's whatever we're paided to do.

Zero: *has a bored expression on her face.*

Silver: So... you're mercenaries, basically.
