Mt. Gagazet~

???: Teozakeru!!

*a very strong blast of controlled lightning knocks the creature on top of Sugar off and two new fighters come into the scene, one appearing to be a normal teenage boy with short black hair and holding a red glowing book of the sort while a blond haired child seems to regain consciousness and closes his mouth, rushing to Sugar's aid*

Blond Haired Child: Are you alright, bunny lady?
Teenager: *skids in front of them, glowing book open, and watches the actions of the fiend*

Mana: *simultaneously during the new duo's attack, Mana wastes no time in dashing in front of Seymour at speeds that make her almost invisible before striking him (or at least attempting to) with her palm in his stomach and then shoving her other palm at his chin, forcing painful spouts of energy into his body with both blows*

*Sugar seems windswept by the newcomers, slightly disorientated as she answers*
Sugar: Ah- I... I'm okay, th-thank you!
*The Mortibody flips around in the air a few times, and when it corrects itself, it seems strongly aggravated and lunges at the teenager with its claw*

*Seymour, surprised by the attack, forces himself to float away from Mana after suffering through the precise hits*
Seymour: SURRENDER NOW, SUMMONER!
*Seymour swings his arms down, forcing a string of thunderbolts to drop from apparently nowhere*

Blond Haired Kid: ! *turns around and dashes in front of the teen* Kiyo!
Kiyo: Got it, Zatch! *the book glows even brighter* Jiou Renzu Zakeruga!!
Zatch: *raises a his hand outward, and a large golden dragon claw charged with electricity appears out of the ground and catches the Mortibody's claw* Huaaaaaaaghhh! *raises his hand upwards, to which the claw mimics him, and he slams the Mortibody into the ground with the claw*

Mana: *casts a protective shield onto Sugar, Zatch, and Kiyo as the thunderbolts rain from the sky and with no time to cast another one on herself, she takes to forming water in her hands and seems to almost skid and spin around points in which thunderbolts would have originally gotten her, occasionally using the water to redirect the electricity from her, and, as quickly as possible, makes her way towards Seymour*

*The Mortibody barely has enough energy to float back up after the attack, seeming as though it should have already dissipated from the damage. Seymour, meanwhile, prepares a deep blue spell in his hands, ready to cast it directly at Mana*
Mortibody: Mortibsorption...
*Seymour suddenly bursts into a short flash of light, and the light finds its way to the Mortibody, leaving Seymour damaged and disorientated, but the Mortibody energized and prepared to continue fighting*
Sugar: That fiend... it's taking energy from him....
Seymour: Cursed Mortibody!

Mana: *has closed in on Seymour during the Mortibody's draining act and she jumps into the air, unleashing a devastating combo of energy packed blows onto Seymour, ending the combo by clasping her two hands together like a fist and smashes it onto Seymour's head to send him into the ground*

Kiyo: *the book glows bright red once again as he slowly backs up next to Sugar* Rauzaruk!!
Zatch: *as soon as lightning strikes him, he launches at blinding speeds towards the fiend, a trail of rainbow colored light trailing him and surrounding his body and slams into the Mortibody, sending it flying further away from everyone, and he continues to chase the Mortibody, making sure he keeps it busy*

Kiyo: *grabs Sugar's* Now's our chance! *pulls her up to his side and starts running towards the exit with surprising stamina, strength, and speed for a human* We need you to go get help! We'll be fine on our own for awhile but Mana's not gonna last much longer with the energy she's using. We're gonna need back up, alright?

Mana: *gives Seymour a taste of his own medicine and lets a single lightning bolt strike his location from the air as she drops to the ground* Okay, when I make it back home to Mobius, I'm gonna make sure I can last more than five minutes fighting...

*Sugar stumbles as Kiyo sends her for help, barely having time to nod in obedience before she takes off for help*
Sugar: M-mh!

*The Mortibody violently charges back at Zatch after catching itself in the air, making its claw glow with a bright light. It lunges at Zatch, claw outstretched. Meanwhile, Seymour, crawling back to his floating stature from the Natus-shaped hole in the ground, loudly trying to replenish his breath from Mana's onslaught, motions for another spell. This spell, however, encases him in a bright light for a second, hardening his entire body defensively*
Seymour: Offer your life to oblivion!
*Seymour casts another spell, a large, stationary ball of what appears to be concentrated explosion. It very quickly contracts, smaller and more compacted, before finally exploding forcefully and incredibly powerfully, flaring and setting aflame the air around Mana's vicinity*

Zatch: *his aura vanishes as the Mortibody's claw approaches as well as the fire attack from Seymour* Ah...!
Kiyo: Zatch! Your cape!
Zatch: Ah! *suddenly his cape moves almost like it's a sentient being and encloses him, masking him in it like a little ball*

Mana: *is surprised by the ferocity of the attack and is only able to make a decent barrier of water against the attack but as the fire sets into the air more, her pained screams can be heard*

Kiyo: *covering his eyes to protect himself from the rush of energy in the cave* Mana!!

*Mortibody's claw slams into Zatch's now protected form, reflecting off of it like it would a wall. The explosive force of the Flare doesn't seem to affect it at all. The spell settles fairly quickly, Seymour seemingly as smug as his metallic composure allows from Mana's screeches of pain*

Mana: *once the spell fades away, Mana is clasping the burns on her right arm, where it hurt her the most, and she's noticeably struggling to stand* Crap... I let my guard down... *falls to one knee and then glares at Seymour* Don't think... this is over...

Kiyo: *grits his teeth in anger* Tch! Zatch, let's finish this! *the book glows the brightest red it has this whole battle*
Zatch: *the cape unfolds and shows he's perfectly unharmed and he grabs onto the Mortibody* Yeah!
Kiyo: BAAAAAAO ZAKERUGAAA!
Zatch: *point blank range, Zatch unleashes a huge burst of electricity that grinds into the Mortibody which quickly morphs into a huge ginormous dragon that outsizes the Mortibody*
Kiyo: GOOOOOOOO!!!

*to Kiyo's command, the dragon somehow roars itself, and actually chomps on the Mortibody, both shocking it thoroughly and crushing it with pressure*

Mana: *during the light show, she pulls out a card that floats around her and she struggles to her feet once again* Don't count... me out just yet, Seymour...

*The Mortibody struggles and thrashes, trying to cast multiple different spells in succession but failing each one, before tensing, and going limp. For some reason, it doesn't disperse into pyreflies, however*

Seymour: The will of a summoner.... Is admirable, but domitable just the same....
*Seymour prepares another spell, fire, from the orange sparks in his hands*

Kiyo: *seems to be very drained from the spell, but narrows his eyes at the Mortibody* ...
Zatch: *looks at his partner curiously* Kiyo?
Kiyo: *gestures for Zatch to move away from the Mortibody, to which the boy does* ...Something's wrong. Watch out, alright Zatch?
Zatch: *nods* Unu!

Mana: Tch...! *taps her wand to the card that had been floating around, and a shower of stardust emits from the card, eventually releasing a bright white and blue dragon which lets out a roar and immediately releases a beam of light towards Seymour, but as it does, Mana falls back to the floor* Sorry, Stardust... I'm leaving him to you for now... *winces as she examines her wounds*

*Seymour seems to endure the beam of light and angrily responds to the summon*
Seymour: Begone you spirit!
*Seymour moves his hands very ominously, and suddenly, Mana's connection with the Stardust Dragon is challenged by his will*

Mana: *gasps at the invasive feeling and clasps at her head and her heart* Ahhhhh...!!!
Stardust: *stumbles in its flight, letting out a pained roar and crashes into the ground near Seymour*
Zatch: *clawing at the area around his heart* Ahhh...!!!
Kiyo: *drops the book and falls to his knees, also clasping his heart* Ngggh...!!!

Mana: *gasps almost desperately and seems to almost curl up on the ground on her knees* S-Stop! W-What are you do-AaaaaAAAAHHH!! *she jolts upright, and her summons disappear in a chaotic form of light and suddenly Mana's screams are cut off, her eyes going glassy before falling to the ground like a broken doll* ... *stares blankly and emptily to where her stare falls and doesn't even seem to be breathing*

*Seymour analyzes Mana's empty vessel*
Seymour: So.... this is the extent of your power.... pity.
*Seymour prepares a final spell*
Seymour: You would have been a very useful tool.
*Just as Seymour begins to cast the spell, however, the sound of automatic gunfire blazes through the air, surprisingly and repeatedly riddling him with damage from bullets. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]*

: How... are you still alive?
*Seymour, after recovering from the barrage, seems surprised by the girl's appearance*
Seymour: ....Lady Yuna...

*Behind Yuna's entrance, Rikku trails in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], and she stops next to Mana to assist her*
Rikku: Mana? Mana! Are you okay!?

*Mana doesn't seem aware of anyone around her, but it seems like her breathing has restarted by coming out in short, shallow, and panicked bursts*

*Rikku, worried by Mana's respiration, begins trying any of the healing spells the dressphere allows*
Rikku: Yunie! This is bad! She's not responding!

*Yuna seems bothered, though her attention is divided with Seymour as well*
Yuna: You were sent.... I sent you to the Farplane. How.... did you come back!?
Seymour: Lady Yuna.... you are as beautiful as I had remembered.
*Yuna seems even more bothered by Seymour's attitude*
Yuna: You're no better than a fiend now.
*Yuna aims her gun at Seymour, whom merely laughs a disturbed, tranquil cackle*
Seymour: This will not be our last meeting, Lady Yuna.
*Yuna fires her Tiny Bee at him once more, but he already dispersed into pyreflies even before she shot. Yuna takes a contemplative moment after his "death" to watch the spot he disappeared on*
Yuna:....

Mana: *one of the spells used seems to calm her breathing, but her eyes close and it seems she's now sleeping* ...

*a blank card flutters in the air and falls onto the two nearby faceless dolls*

*Upon calming Mana's breath, Rikku seems to relax. Yuna is the first to notice the blank card, and she walks over to them and crouches to her knee level to examine it, along with the dolls*
Yuna: ...What are these?
*Rikku looks up at the card and dolls*
Rikku: I don't know. Let me see the card?
*Yuna complies and picks up the blank card for Rikku to see*
Rikku: Hey... that looks like the thing she used to summon that drake in Luca.
Yuna: Summon...?
Rikku: Mh-hm. Mana's a summoner.
*Yuna looks down at Mana, curiosity setting within her*

Mana: *seems to stir weakly and her eyes are fluttering open* ... *tears form in the corner of her eyes* (in a weak and soft voice that doesn't seem to be addressing Rikku or anyone around her) W-Where... Where did you go...? Where are you...?

*Rikku holds her breath, and both she and Yuna share concern for Mana's voice*
Yuna: ...Come on Rikku, let's take her somewhere safe.
Rikku: R-right!
*Rikku lifts Mana's body, and Yuna, the dolls, and together, they leave the cavern. After a bit of walking, they reach an area signified by tall obelisks from the ground. The first face they see upon entering the open top of the mountain is Kimahri's, arms crossed, but inviting, and only slightly surprised by the sight of Yuna*
Kimahri: Yuna-
Yuna: Kimahri! We have to bring Mana somewhere safe!
*Kimahri nods once and leads them further into the Ronso tribe, being on-looked by several other Ronso as they walk by. Kimahri pulls leads them into a cave-like settlement, looking as if it were carved directly into the side of the mountain*
Kimahri: Rest here.
Yuna: Ah, thank you, Kimahri!
Rikku: You know Kimahri, we've been here a couple of times, but this is the first time you've let us in your home~
*Kimahri grumbles in his usual tone*
Kimahri: Ronso never let others enter sacred home. Purple summoner exception. Yuna exception.
Rikku: "Rikku exception" too?
*Kimahri turns away from her and enters, leaving Rikku to giggle nervously*
Kimahri: Yuna, Mana, and Rikku rest. When Mana wake, take her to high grounds.
*Yuna bows*
Yuna: Yessir.
Kimahri: Stay here, wait, until then.
Rikku: What? But she could be unconscious for hours!
*Kimahri glares at her, causing her to quiet for a bit*
Yuna: There's no choice then. We wait for now.

Mana: *seems to have either fallen asleep or unconscious, although tears still streak her face* ...

*Kimahri had exited after silencing Rikku. Yuna gives Mana a look of concern, and Rikku quietly shifts back into her Thief Dressphere*
Rikku: I gave her "Regen", but it's barely helping....
Yuna: ...Who is she? Another summoner, I know, but I mean,... where....?
*Just as Rikku breathes to respond, Sugar enters the room, seeming very anxious*
Sugar: Is Mana okay?
Yuna: Sugar?
Sugar: Oh! High Summ- er, I mean, ah, Yuna!
*Sugar bows to Yuna, whom smiles nervously and waves off the formality*
Yuna: Sugar, how long have you- oh....
*Yuna gives an extended glance towards Mana*
Yuna: ....She came with you?
*Sugar seems downtrodden at the still-unconscious Mana*
Sugar: Yes. We were supposed to give her a tour of Spira, but...
*The three of them tread into silence for a short time*
Yuna: ...So, she really can summon?
Rikku: Yeah. She used that card to do it....
Yuna: The card?
*Yuna examines the blank card, and Sugar gasps with a fleeting breath*
Sugar: It's... blank?
Yuna: Mh-hm... it went that way when Seymour tried to Banish her aeon.
Rikku: What does it mean?
*Sugar shakes her head slowly*
Sugar: I don't know... but that card... it's supposed to have a picture of her dragon....
Yuna: A picture?
*Sugar nods*
Sugar: I don't know a lot about it, but.... she calls for it, and it comes to her. Usually, it's from friends that she's made from other worlds.
*Yuna crosses her arms in thought*
Yuna: So her aeons... come from other worlds?
*Rikku cuts in*
Rikku: So, it's like making her friends into Fayth?
Sugar: No, not like that. It's more like... she borrows them from their world, to help here.
Rikku: Then... that explains why she can still summon!
*Sugar nods again, but then Rikku's train of thought shakes her*
Rikku: Wait! But if she's the one calling their spirits, then what happened when...
Yuna:.... She must... use herself as the Fayth...
*Yuna shakes her head*
Yuna: Or, not a Fayth, but something like it...
Rikku: Then when Seymour banished the aeon, he went into Mana and-
*Rikku's words die out in her mouth, and neither of the other two girls have the nerve to finish them for her. They sit in silence for a little while, and Yuna converges into the next topic of interest*
Yuna: ...What was Seymour doing there...?
Rikku: Yeah, what gives? I thought you sent him years ago!
Sugar: Seymour.... he... he was trying to get Mana to summon him.
Yuna: What?
Sugar: He told Mana that... he wanted to heal Spira, and through Mana's summon, he'd destroy Spira to achieve that.
Rikku: That's crazy!
*Yuna seems to harbour a silent, sympathetic anger on the subject*
Yuna: That's Seymour.
*Sugar goes quiet for a bit, but then works up the nerve to speak her thoughts*
Sugar: Seymour... is an unsent... right? Then that means... he'll come back, won't he?
Yuna: Yes. He will. He won't stop until he's sent again.
Rikku: Are you sure that'll work though? We thought it worked the first time, after all...
*Yuna keeps her thoughts to herself, but nods*
Yuna: I'm sure it would work.
Rikku: Still... that means you'll have to take off your garment grid.
Yuna: It's not that big of a deal. I just have to make sure it doesn't get stolen.
Rikku: --again.
*They quietly fall into silence again, and Sugar walks next to Mana*
Sugar: ...I hope... she's going to be alright....
*Neither Yuna nor Rikku respond*

*After a few moments after conversation grows idle, a light pink glow suddenly fills the room, and a familiar black top hat with a red ribbon and flower pops into existence. It falls onto the ground with the opening up, and out of it a plushie of a rabbit pokes her head out of it, and gets out with a little screen in hand. On the screen is a purple cat who noticeably resembles Mana in looks, barring the darker purple that colors her fur and bright blue eyes*

???: Ah! Pink Bunny got through!
Pink Bunny: *although the rabbit doesn't have a mouth on her, she still somehow is heard* Of course I got through. It's not that hard to-
???: *sees Sugar* Sugar! Sugar, is Mana okay?!

*Sugar seems surprised by the appearance, though not more than Rikku and Yuna*
Sugar: Ah! Hana!
*Sugar props herself down to Pink Bunny's level to see into the screen, instead of doing the sensible thing and picking it up*
Sugar: Hana, how did you find us?

Hana: I didn't exactly find you guys. But Pink Bunny has a natural connection to Mana she can follow. *looks very concerned* At the house... All of Mana's dolls, the ones that she gave life to and independent thought to, they started freaking out. Some of them started crying while others started screaming and some of them... *is obviously bothered by the event* Some of them just flat out... fainted, I suppose.
Pink Bunny: *although her expression can't change, she gives off the aura of worry* It felt like we were cut off from Mana. And never in our lives have we ever not felt her presence somewhere in us. And when the feeling of "her" disappeared, it felt like pain was put in its place.
Hana: I never heard anything like it, Sugar. I still don't quite understand what the stuffed animals felt, but I knew something was wrong. I had to find out what.
Pink Bunny: *sets the screen upright on the ground and turns her back to the three girls to be play with Mana's hat* And... we can't... We can't feel Stardust Dragon. Or the connection with Zatch and Kiyo.
Hana: Is Mana okay, Sugar? I know she's alive, but...

*Sugar looks down and away from the screen upon the mention of Stardust Dragon and the two boys. Her breath gets caught up in her lungs as she tries to say something to Hana*
Sugar: Mana's.... not... okay. I'm not sure... what exactly happened, but... She was... Mana was hurt.
*Sugar shakes her head, trying to speak more forcefully*
Sugar: She fought somebody, and they did something magical to her, and now she's...
*Sugar huffs, as if to hold back the slowly-building sadness in her voice to continue*
Sugar: And... and her card... and the dolls... they've lost their expressions...
